The Biomedical Library is located on the UCSD main campus and supports the research, teaching and patient care programs of the UCSD School of Medicine, the Skaggs School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the Division of Biological Sciences. Its collection of approximately 200,000 bound volumes and approximately 2,550 journal subscriptions* covers the fields of medicine and biology. During 2005 and 2006, the Biomedical Library underwent an extensive renovation & addition project.
* In recent years, we have been transitioning from a largely print-based to a more online journal collection. We currently provide access to a journal collection of over 5000 current and retrospective titles in biological and medical sciences as well as the wider collections of the university covering all disciplines.
