Education

Collection Statement

The education collection supports the curriculum of the Education Studies (EDS) at UCSD and focuses on the areas of teaching and learning; curriculum design; American Sign Language; bilingual education; multicultural education; theory; research; and educational leadership.

The education collection also includes higher education materials in the areas of technological innovation; educational change; educational equalization; aims and objectives; and administration.

UCSD does not have a School of Education; therefore, the Social Sciences and Humanities Library does not have a comprehensive education collection nor curriculum materials. Education Studies students also utilize the library collection at San Diego State University, which supports a College of Education.
