The UC San Diego Library is now ranked among the top 25 public research libraries in North America. This coveted status is possible only through combined financial support from State and private resources. We invite you to help the UCSD Library maintain and grow a world-class collection of resource materials by establishing a named collection endowment. Your gift will generate sustained income for the Library each year and create a permanent legacy for you and your family.
A named collection endowment can begin with an investment of as little as $10,000 and can be directed toward a subject of interest to you. Endowments may be funded with a single gift or built up gradually over several years. You may add to your endowment at any time.
All materials purchased through your endowment will be personalized with your own specially designed bookplate. You will also receive annual updates about materials purchased through your fund, be invited to exclusive Library events, and be recognized in Library and campus publications.
The UCSD Library actively collects research materials in the following areas. This list is meant only to be a guide. If you would like to support a specific area of interest, we will be happy to work with you.
Whatever your area of interest or philanthropic ability, the UCSD Library will happily work with you to establish a named endowment that will be not only invaluable to all our future generations of scholars, but personally rewarding to you as well.
