Black Mountain Ranch

Black Mountain Ranch is a small, new community currently under development. It encompasses 5,100 acres in the northern region of San Diego County. The community plan designates approximately 29 percent of the community for residential development, 67 percent for parks, golf courses, and open space, 2 percent for schools, and 2 percent for commercial use. Community planners anticipate developing two 18-hole golf courses designed to meet PGA Tour requirements. The residential area primarily consists of two housing developments, Santaluz and Del Sur. Housing prices and crime rates for this community are close to the county average. The community is served by the Poway Unified School District. There is currently no public transportation serving this area.
