East Elliot

East Elliott remains undeveloped. Formerly a part of Camp Elliott, it was purchased by the United States Government in 1941 for use as a Marine Corps training camp. With a number of endangered and threatened wildlife species, it is one of the largest and biologically most important open space areas in San Diego.
