- “Although I'm in the "College Area" according to the map, I'm actually live in a smaller section called El Cerrito. This is a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors and a lot of young families. For me the best thing about my neighborhood is my daughter can play safely outside with her friends.”
- “Huge number of SDSU students living in private homes ("mini-dorms) and apartment complexes.”
- “I wish there were more good restaurants and shops accessible, though I'm glad there isn't a lot of chain development in the area. It would be nice if there were a "village" kind of feel to it with independently-owned shops and restaurants
