La Mesa
La Mesa is inhabited by almost 60,000 residents. Located in the rolling hills of eastern San Diego County, La Mesa is known as the "Jewel of the Hills." A nice climate, many tree-lined streets and walkable neighborhoods, and a quaint downtown village make La Mesa a desirable community in which to live and visit. The Village hosts a number of seasonal community events including the Oktoberfest, Christmas in the Village, Antique Street Faire, and the weekly 50’s Car Show held on Thursday nights throughout the summer. There is also a weekly Farmer’s Market held Friday afternoons throughout the year. La Mesa is also home to many shopping centers, a shopping mall, several large retailers, and movie theaters. The San Diego trolley makes several stops within the city limits.
