Encanto

Located in the Southeastern part of San Diego next to National City is Encanto, a hilly neighborhood with a diverse population. The housing prices are below the average in San Diego, and crime is below the national average. It is primarily a residential area and there have been on-going efforts to revitalize this community. Included in these efforts is the Chollas Creek Enhancement Program, an initiative to promote open space and restore native vegetation.
