Here are demo versions of several of the tools we have developed to maintain our database, create pages, and perform maintenance. Please note: These versions do not interface with our live database, and some features have been disabled, but they should give a good idea of what kind of tools we use.

Record Selector |
|
Record Selector generates a SQL query based on values supplied for any field in the database. The results can be formatted for the public, with customized formatting and graphics. The results can also be formatted for authors, with more detailed displays, and links to edit or delete the resources. |

Resource Editor |
|
Resource Editor allows authors to edit or delete individual resources, including adding and removing subjects, types, help links, keywords and custom fields. |

Profile Editor |
|
Profile Editor controls the list of subjects, types and custom fields that are in each author's short list as they edit records. It also lists any Link Checking reports the author has created. |

Link Checking Reports |
|
Link Checking Reports (which can be created for any set of resources selected from Record Selector) show the status of each resource, with links to edit the resource or view the URL manually. The link status location is updated in the database weekly, and the reports draw the information from the database when the report is generated. |

Navigation Editor |
|
Navigation Editor is a tool that allows authors to edit Navigation Bars that can then be included on dynamically-built pages. It is an example of a tool that allows authors to manage content without having to manually edit the HTML. |
