Nanoengineering in Medicine (Faculty Lecture, April 15)

photo-lzhang-2-resized-138x144Dr. Liangfang Zhang, UCSD Assistant Professor of NanoEngineering, will give the second in a series of three NanoEngineering Faculty Lectures at the Science & Engineering Library. His lecture, entitled, “Nanoengineering in Medicine: from Cancer Imaging to Heart Disease Treatment,” will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 3:00-4:00 pm in the Science & Engineering Library Events Room (Geisel Library, East Wing). The lecture series, sponsored by the S&E Library and supported by the Friends of the UCSD Libraries, is free and open to students, faculty, staff, and the public.

The third and final lecture in the series (Dr. Jennifer Cha on “Biomolecular Architectures and Systems for Nanoscience”) will be on May 13.
