Collections of Distinction
Over the years, UC San Diego has developed unique areas of research emphasis and corresponding library collections and resources of distinction. Among the Area Studies, Melanesian and Pacific Island Studies, and Latin American Studies, are notable examples. In addition, materials relating to the Spanish Civil War, the History of Oceanography, and historic elections materials are research magnets that attract researchers and scholars from around the world to UC San Diego.
