The libraries provide a variety of computing options. There are InfoStation computers, which can be used by anyone (no login needed), but do not have word processing or other office programs. Many locations also have full service computer labs with Microsoft Office and specialized software and equipment, which are available to UC San Diego users via their ACS account login.

The UCSD Libraries are wireless-ready for UCSD students, faculty and staff (you will be prompted for your ACS account login). In addition, some Libraries provide network cards or laptops for UCSD students, faculty, and staff to check out:
If you are a frequent user of the campus wireless network, you may want to register your network card. This one-time registration allows you computer to be automatically recognized to use the wireless connection.
