Printing from Library Computers

Printing from library computers is currently .10/page for black and white, and .50/page for color. There are networked printers located throughout each library, and you will first need a UCSD print/copy debit card, which may be purchased from machine dispensers at any campus library or directly from Imprints (UCSD's copier service located in the east wing on the main level of the Geisel Library building). The initial price of a debit card is $1.00 (bills only, no coins), and you are automatically given .50 credit with purchase. Debit cards are reusable and do not expire. Please note that that library staff cannot make change for you.

Wireless printing to library printers is also available (currently only for Windows users), but you will first need to download and install a small program.

Printing from ACS Computer Labs

In order to use ACS laser printers in the Computer Labs, you'll first need to setup a UCSD student "laser printing account" online. For more information and to set up your account, see ACS's printing page. Lab printing is currently .5/page for black and white, and .20/page for color.

Wireless printing to ACS labs is fairly straightforward, but requires you to first authorize the print job.

Copying
