The Geisel Library Building is located in the heart of campus near the Price Center. The Geisel Library Building includes four of the nine UC San Diego Libraries: The Arts Library, Mandeville Special Collections, The Science & Engineering Library, and Social Sciences & Humanities Library. Take interstate 5 to Genesee Avenue and head west. At the 3rd light turn left on North Torrey Pines Road. At the next light, turn left on North Point Drive. There will be a parking kiosk at the second stop sign. You can purchase parking permits and receive parking instructions there. If you continue on, North Point Drive becomes Hopkins Drive and curves to the right. Take Hopkins Drive to the end, and there will be metered parking on your right. Follow the signs to enter the Geisel Library.
Additional parking and a permit dispenser are available in the Hopkins Parking Structure, located on the corner of Hopkins Drive and Voight Drive.
Take interstate 5 to Gilman Drive and head north. Continue for about 1.5 miles, and a parking kiosk will be on your right. Stop there for parking instructions and directions.
Buses 30, 41, 101, 150, 201/202 and 921 all go through UCSD. The Gilman/Myers stop is closest to Geisel Library. You can also use the San Diego MTS trip planner (choose University of California, San Diego from the list of landmarks).
