Cell phone policies for the Biomedical and Medical Center Libraries are designed to provide users with an environment conducive to study, research, and quiet collaboration.
Biomedical Library
The Biomedical Library is a heavily used facility with an open space plan.
To preserve the quiet environment requested by our users, cell phone conversations are not allowed. When entering the library, please set cell phones, pagers, and other electronic devices to silent or vibrate mode.
Users may engage in cell phone conversations in the library breezeway located between the graduate study and the library's main entrance.
Medical Center Library
The Medical Center Library's cell phone policy is governed by the UCSD Medical Center's current policy on cell phone use.
