Title Decoders - BML

The following are some title/volume lists and "decoder" tools for some of our more complex electronic book and journal packages.

• Biochimica et Biophysica Acta decoder
  This journal is divided into numerous sections each with its own website, and the volume numbering jumps around from section to section unpredictably. If you have a citation with a volume number but you don't know which section it's in, this list can get you to the correct part of the journal's website.
• Brain Research decoder
  From 1979 through 1988, Brain Research started to spin off sub-journals and the initial volume numbering had problems with duplication and gaps. PubMed used one series of numbers, but the online journal's website uses the other. This table can help you get to the right place.
• Comptes Rendus de l'Académie des sciences etc.
  Probably the "messiest" journal around, this has gone through many title changes and splits over the years. The University of Washington Libraries put together this handy chart to help you get to the right series and section.
