Reference librarians are available at the Biomedical Library weekdays from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, but we have staff available to help you get started on your research all the hours the library is open. The UC-wide chat reference service is also available evenings and Sundays. Here are all the ways you can reach us!

Note: the chat box formerly on the right is discontinued as of July 11th. We were using Meebo Messenger for this service and it is being discontinued by the company.

Now available 24/7!  Depending on the hour, you may be chatting with a librarian from another academic library outside California. If your question is very UCSD-specific, a UCSD librarian will follow up with additional information.
