The Commons Service Desk

The Service Desk provides technical and information services to Commons patrons. It is staffed on most days between 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.(see schedule below).

Service Consultants support patrons in solving problems and making the best use of their time in the Commons.

Specifically, Service Consultants

  • Support patrons in taking maximum advantage of the technology, content and services that are available in the Info Commons.
  • Ensure hardware and software are operative and available.
  • Liaise with ACS staff to prevent and fix problems
  • Answer questions from Commons patrons
  • Support patrons in finding the information they need.
  • Help patrons channel their work through software and printers

                           Monday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

                           Friday: 10:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

                           Saturday:11:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

                           Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
