CLICS Presentation Practice Room

Need to practice your presentation? CLICS Room 255, located in the southeast corner of the main floor, is the Presentation Practice Room and is equipped with a flat screen monitor. Its primary use is for individuals or groups to practice presentations that they are developing for a UCSD course in which they are enrolled.

You must use your own personal laptop to connect to the flat screen monitor. Keys to the room along with the necessary cables, a laser pointer, digital timer and remote control are available for check out at the CLICS Circulation Desk. Also available if you need them are a wireless mouse and keyboard, and a external DVD player/recorder.

Priority use of the room is given to individuals or groups who intend to use the flat screen monitor to practice their presentations.

To use the room, you must make an in-person reservation at the CLICS Circulation Desk. Please read the reservation guidelines below.


Guidelines for Reserving the CLICS Presentation Practice Room

  • Reservations must be made in person at the CLICS Circulation Desk
  • The room can be reserved at a minimum of one hour in advance up to 48 hours in advance.
  • Reservations may be no longer than two (2) hours in duration and must begin and end on the hour.
  • Reservations cannot be made past 12:00am.
  • You will be asked for your full name and the number of other group members.
  • You will also be asked to provide the course name and number for which your presentation is being developed.
  • When ready to use the room, check out the key, and all the necessary equipment using your UCSD Student ID.
  • Please be Informed that there is a $100 replacement fee per item, if they are not returned and/or are returned damaged.
