Collection Statement
The purpose of the Physics & Astronomy collection is to support the research interests and instructional activities of faculty and students in the Department of Physics, Center for Astrophysics & Space Science, Cal Space, and related centers at UCSD. Strengths of the collection include astrophysics, optics, plasma science, semiconductors, superconductors, and condensed matter physics. Related materials in electrical engineering, mathematics, materials science and chemistry complement these collections. Print materials in geology and atmospheric sciences are primarily located at the SIO Library.
