Need a copy of an article or item in the Scripps Library collection?

SIO Academics, Staff and Graduate students* who would like to receive a scan of an article from PRINT journals or other items in the SIO Library collection may submit requests to the SIO Document Delivery & Interlibrary Loan unit at scrippsill@ucsd.edu. The cost is $3.50 per article (up to 50 pages/$0.15/page over 50). Please include a Departmental Index number in your email requests. Article(s) are scanned and posted on a web server as black/white PDFs; you will be notified via email when they are ready.

(*On 1 July 2008, subsidized SIO Avanti Document Delivery service for SIO Graduate students was discontinued.)

To request items not owned by SIO Library, use our Interlibrary Loan service, or send your request via email to scrippsill@ucsd.edu.
