Subject Librarian Pages

Subject specialist librarians in the Social Sciences and Humanities Library build and maintain collections to support the teaching and research needs of UCSD academic programs. They select materials in their areas (books, journals, electronic resources and other formats), provide reference service, and are available to faculty and students for research consultations. In cooperation with faculty they may also provide orientations and instruction sessions for classes engaged in library research projects.

Here are pages for many of them, providing provide background and contact information and in many cases also description of the collections for which they are responsible.
