UCSD Policies

Academic integrity and prevention of plagiarism is taken very seriously. Students who plagiarize can receive a failing grade in a course, be suspended or even expelled from the University.

The policies below outline student responsibility, instructor responsibility and university procedures and course of actions for academic dishonesty.

UCSD Policy on Integrity of Scholarship describes academic honesty at UCSD and how "all academic work will be done by the student to whom it is assigned, without unauthorized aid of any kind." Incidents which violate the University's rules on integrity of scholarship are reported and taken very seriously.
