The library's collections supporting the interdisciplinary Critical Gender Studies program include books, journals, videos and electronic resources on gender, race, class, sexuality, and nationalism. Resources from both the social sciences and the humanities reflect accounts of the social, political, economic, historical, and cultural contexts through which the social relations of gender have been made and maintained.
HQ is the general call number area for the majority of books on gender, feminism, sex role, sexuality, women's issues, etc., but since research on gender can occur within any discipline, please check the online catalogs (Roger and/or Melvyl) for other call numbers. Within the Library of Congress classification system, library materials on gender are scattered across a many different call numbers.
