Regions patrolled include Western Highlands and Mt. Hagen. The patrols were conducted for the purposes of road construction and repair, vote collecting, tax collection, annual census, assessment of health and education requirements, and investigation of criminal behavior. Many of the reports are accompanied by a map showing the path of the patrol.
