Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC): provides information on lists of Commissioners, overviews of California campaign disclosure rules, state lobbying rules etc.

California State Senate: includes senate district maps, senate district block census assignment data and more.

California Voter Foundation: provides voter guide for California election, information on voting registration, a directory and map of California voting system and news.

Follow The Money: provides data on campaign contributions in state elections. The information includes contributions by sector, by political party, labor and business.

Smart Voter: provides past California election results from 1998 to 2003, a directory of contests, information on voting registration, and contact information on California State Legislative Offices.

Propositions

Propositions for the current election can be found at the League of Women Voters or at the Secretary of State initiatives page.

California Ballot Propositions: Full-text of California ballot propositions from 1911 to present. It provides the summary of the proposition, title, years and voting results.

League of Women Voters of California: The League, a nonpartisan organization, provides information on voting process, elections, and issues on the ballot.

The California Secretary of State's Election Division: offers voter registration forms, information on absentee voting, California voting system and statewide election results from 1996 to present.

States' Elections

Mapping the Internet Electronic Resources Virtual Archive (MINERVA): a Library of Congress Web Preservation Project, has archived web sites produced by congressional and gubernatorial candidates from July 1, 2002 and November 30, 2002.

National Association of State Election Directors: list of individual Secretaries of States' web sites.

National Conference of State Legislatures: state election laws, redistricting, term limits, historic information and more.

Project Vote Smart: provides individual Congressmen and Senators' voting records, information about presidential candidates, directories of state legislator, campaign finance information, and reference documents such as such as the Constitution, the U.S. Government Manual, and How Our Laws are Made.

Statewide Database (SWDB): maintained by the Institute of Governmental Studies at UC Berkeley, the redistricting database for the state of California. SWDB collects redistricting literature, copies ofcases that are related to redistricting and census enumeration, redistricting news and much more. The raw data via the Internet is free of charge.

San Diego Election

San Diego City Clerk's Office: offers election results, economic interests' disclosure, petition and ballot measure processes, and other election related links.

San Diego County Registrar of Voters: presents past federal, state and local election results, voter turnout reports, district maps and more.

San Diego County Smart Vote: provides voter information including ballot information, directory of contests, and My Ballot, a database to find candidate information, polling places and election results by street address.
