To view only records for e-books, limit your search to “electronic materials”. To get the e-book, click on link in record. E-BOOKS: MAJOR COLLECTIONS & GOOD STARTING POINTS.Search in these resources, if you want to search across the complete text of lots of books. Some collections allow you to download, others only to view on your computer or moblile device. Books still in copyright may only be previewed partially, but you can then locate in a library. |

| Hathi Trust | 4.7 million digitized books, many of which are from rare or unique collections within large U.S. research libraries. For UC-affliated users who login, fully viewable books published pre-1923, as well as later public domain books, are available. Search full-text across all items. |

Search the full text of over 15 million books. Most books published after 1923 will not available to read online, but can be previewed and located in libraries. |

Collection of more than 1.75 million public domain books and other texts digitized from libraries in the United States and Canada. Contains a wide range of fiction, popular books, children's books, historical texts and academic books (including almost 200,000 from the University of California). Can be viewed online or downloaded in a wide variety of formats, including PDF, Kindle and ePub. |
