History

eHelp Corporation provides automated user assistance software for applications, intranets, and the Web. Its products include RoboHelp Enterprise, RoboHelp Office, RoboHelp for WinHelp, RoboHelp for Microsoft HTML Help, and eHelp Chat. The company’s software solutions allow Web site and software developers, managers, and technical writers to create integrated online user assistance. The company was founded as Blue Sky Software in 1990 and changed its name to eHelp Corporation. The company is headquartered in San Diego, California.

Jorgen Sigurd Lien and Trond Bergquist founded eHelp Corporation in 1990. Adobe Macromedia Software LLC acquired the company in 2003. That same year, eHelp Corporation donated Robodemo software worth $75,000 to the University of California, San Diego. eHelp helped to provide the foundation to more than 250 million online Help and user assistance systems currently in use around the world, and has received more than 60 industry awards.
