Information for Institutions

General Policy

Loans and copies are provided to other academic, public, government, and non-profit libraries according the national and international interlibrary loan codes.  For-profit institutions and commercial document delivery vendors are not eligible for these services.

Submitting Requests

OCLC and/or Docline is the preferred method for sending requests. If you do not have access to OCLC or Docline, complete an ALA form and submit the form via email, ARIEL or FAX.

Fees

In general loans are $11.00 for libraries or institutions within the state of California; $20.00 for loans to libraries outside the state of California; $20.00 to $40.00 for loans outside the United States. Photocopies range from $11.00 to $20.00.  Fees could vary according to shipping method and distance.  To view the current fee schedule, click here.
