Electronic Reserves IP Address Restriction

The Electronic Reserves server (reserves.ucsd.edu) is restricted to UCSD IP addresses. This means that it can only be accessed from computers on the UCSD network, including dial-in accounts provided by ACS Office of Network Operations (ONO).

Remote Access

To access Electronic Reserves from off campus if you use a commercial Internet service provider, such as AOL or Road Runner, rather than a UCSD dial-in account, you can configure your browser to use the ONO proxy server. Our Remote Access page gives more details and links to instructions on how to configure your browser to use the ONO proxy server.

Password Access

If you are ineligible to use the ONO proxy server, password-based access can be granted for the current quarter to UCSD faculty and to students formally enrolled in UCSD courses. Please send email to E-Reserves Help for more information.
