GIS services and resources at UC San Diego originate from the Data & GIS Lab located within Social Sciences & Humanities Library, in the Geisel Library building on the main floor – just come in, turn left and keep going. There is a six (6) computer lab, large format printer and scanner, staff, data, and people to help you find out about geographic information systems (GIS) and figure out how to incorporate it into the classroom, research, and coursework.
Please visit us in the Data & GIS Lab or check out our website at http://libraries.ucsd.edu/gis for more information.
Also see our list of online GIS resources ranging from sites with actual GIS data to spatial blogs at http://delicious.com/gis_resources.
Posts can be found on the ‘Blog Posts’ page of this blog, or by clicking on the category you are interested in.
The use of this blog is limited to posting of GIS-related event and opportunities, or for posting of GIS communications to the UC San Diego community.
Hope to see you soon!
