Cambridge Structural Database 2010

The 2010 version of Cambridge Structural Database for Windows, OSX and Linux can now be downloaded from the UC CSD site at UCLA.  You can:

  • download the ISO file, then burn your own copy of the installation DVD (recordable DVD required), or
  • download, extract and install the 1.6 GB Zip file (Windows only)

On this page you’ll also find the site and confirmation codes, which you’ll need to register CSD the first time you use it, and then to download and install the quarterly updates from CSD.  If you were using CSD 2009, you must uninstall it first.

If you have trouble downloading the files from the site, contact Teri Vogel. We have backup installation DVD’s for all three version, and can arrange for you to borrow them.

About Cambridge Structural Database: CSD is database of bibliographic, crystallographic and chemical information for more than 456,000 organic and organometallic compounds whose structures have been determined using x-ray or neutron diffraction. Use of CSD is restricted to UCSD faculty, staff and students for academic research.
