Atego

In 2010 Aonix (founded in 1996) and Artisan Software Tools merged to create Atego. French computer programming pioneer Jean Ichbiah founded the French company Alsys in 1980 to support his work on his famous Ada programming language. Alsys merged into Thomson Software Products and then Aonix into 1996. Thomson Software Products had major support facilities in San Diego, CA, which perhaps foreshadowed moving Atego headquarters there in 2010.
