About Geisel Large Adaptive Study Room (GLASS)

Situated on the 7th Floor of Geisel Library, this large study room offers a spacious, flexible environment for groups of up to 16 students. At the heart of the room are modular tables that can be reconfigured to suit any setup. A podium makes it especially practical for rehearsing presentations. This reservable room provides the perfect setting for collaborative study sessions and presentation practice, with features designed to support team projects, exam preparation, and group learning in a dedicated academic space.

Policies

Users of Library Spaces are expected to follow all Library Policies as well as the UC San Diego Principles of Community. Within the room, users are expected to keep a moderate noise level and follow all Group Study Room Policies especially regarding reservations and maintaining the cleanliness of the shared space. Additionally, per day a single user can reserve up to 4 hours of a room with each individual reservation being 1 hour. Reservations may be consecutive or non-consecutive. Reservations for most rooms may be made up to two weeks in advance.
