This private, spacious room is perfect for your student group’s next meeting, planning session, or group collaboration. Student organizations must be registered with the Center for Student Involvement to request this space.

Available Features

Policies

Users of Library Spaces are expected to follow all Library Policies as well as the UC San Diego Principles of Community. Within this space, conversation is permitted and food/drink must be kept away from any computers.

Library, security, or custodial staff may enter the space at any time and/or request reservation verification. Further guidelines below apply to all Student Community Space users and are enforceable by all Library employees. Misuse of the space may result in suspension of use privileges.

  • All users must effectively clean up after themselves before leaving the space
  • The space is intended as an alternative group meeting and/or small-group collaborative space
  • Use of the room is limited to confirmed reservation date(s) and time(s)

The following are not permitted:

  • Food or drink-related trash, spills, lingering smells, residue, or mess in the room
  • Sharing the access code with anyone
  • Writing on or damaging walls or furnishings
  • Leaving personal belongings unattended for any length of time; the Library is not liable for theft or damage
  • Moving standard furniture out of the room (see standard furnishings above)
