All appear aboard a boat marked as the "Junta de Burgos" registered in Lisbon, referencing to the Nationalist headquarters in Burgos and the origins of the uprising in fascist Portugal. Beside a banner proclaiming "Arriba España" ("Rise Spain") the country itself swings from the rope of a scaffold.
