About Geisel 1 West

With plenty of tables, chairs, and booth seating, this open seating area on Geisel's 1st floor accommodates both individual studying and collaborative work. Booths are well-suited for solo focus or small group sessions, while open tables offer flexibility for larger study groups or team projects. Current graduate students can also request one of the nearby Graduate Student Lockers to store study materials.

At the Teaching + Learning Commons, students can easily access comprehensive academic support services right at the Library. The Commons offers drop-in tutoring, workshops on study strategies, and one-on-one instructional support. Whether you're working through challenging coursework, developing stronger study habits, or seeking resources to enhance your learning, expert assistance is readily available while you work.
