Mostly comprised of large, long tables with outlets and plenty of seating, this open seating area is a great place for collaborative work and group study sessions. Computers in 2 West are favorites for working with data and code, and external monitors at docking stations are a great tool to support productivity.

Tailored services in 2 West include the Data & GIS Lab and Special Collections & Archives. The Data & GIS Lab is a specialized hub for finding and using geospatial, numeric and textual data, open for self-service use during Geisel Library hours. At Special Collections & Archives, researchers can get direct access to rare and unique materials that support their scholarly work. Visitors can use Wepa self service printers and high-quality scanners or check out the Popular Science collection, microforms, and government documents available for public viewing.

Geisel 2 West provides access to public computers, SSO computers (PCs and Macs), and docking stations. Visitors must follow Library computer policies
