Travel Awards
Special Collections & Archives provides a limited number of travel awards to support the research of visiting scholars whose projects require significant on-site use of its collections. The awards will support research in the areas of UC San Diego’s collecting strengths: experimental post-war American poetry, the Spanish Civil War, exploration and discovery in the Pacific, California/Baja California/San Diego history, history of twentieth-century science, oceanography and marine science, and Melanesian anthropology.
