Special Collections & Archives Services

Special Collections & Archives is open Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Masking is recommended but not mandated. Appointments are not necessary, but many materials are stored offsite and need to be paged to Special Collections & Archives prior to your visit.

Search through UC Library Search (our new library catalog) and our Finding Aids to select and request materials to use during your visit, or to request scans. 

Please review our conditions for Using Special Collections & Archives Materials for additional information on handling and using these materials. Our Bookeye Scanner is available, but personal cameras are not permitted in the Reading Room. We also provide limited scanning services for researchers who are not able to visit. Please see our Duplication Policy for more details.
