Enhancing the Student Experience

As a hub of discovery and learning, we strive to enhance student productivity and inspire collaboration through state-of-the-art “smart” learning centers. Help the Library transform the way students study, imagine, and create by transforming our spaces into modern, collaborative, and technology-rich places where research and collaboration help take our students’ studies and ideas to the next level. Sparking Research through Collections Endowments

Library information resources provide the foundation of knowledge for many of the groundbreaking discoveries, treatments, and intellectual achievements for which UC San Diego has become renowned. Help us grow our collections endowment so we may continue to acquire new and relevant material that provides greater access to UC San Diego’s research collections. Space Modernization and Innovation

As a place to seek inspiration and innovation, the Library's Digital Media Lab is a wonderful resource that is open and free to all UC San Diego students, faculty, and staff, providing a creatively rich space for media creation and editing. Support for the Digital Media Lab provides users with the opportunity to bring their visions to life by creating hands-on experience utilizing the 3D printer. Video editing, image manipulation, sound editing, media-rich website creation and support for app development are all resources that are provided at no costs to our users.
